A program created to reduce staff turnover in child care centers and increase the supply of well-trained child care workers. The goal is to help stabilize the child care work force and improve the quality of care that all children receive. For more information contact 1-800-227-3020 or (605) 773-4766 Organizations/CoalitionsProfessional Development OpportunitiesEarly Childhood Enrichment (ECE) Program. Provides ongoing training and technical assistance to adults who are involved in day-to-day care of young children. Monthly basic enrichment classes are offered during convenient hours for people who work with young children during the day. For more information call 1-800-227-3020 Infant/Toddler Training Program. A part of the ECE program, this program works to improve the quality of infant and toddler care. Training sessions are provided for child care providers and parents in their local communities across the state.
